Configure AI providers, API keys, and feature-to-model mapping.
Configure which AI providers power each feature in Dial8.
Provider Setup
Apple Intelligence
Toggle on in settings. No API key needed. Requires macOS 26.0+ with Apple Intelligence enabled on your Mac.
Claude (Anthropic)
Claude is available through your Dial8 account. Select your preferred model variant:
- Claude Sonnet 4.5 (default)
- Claude Haiku 4.5
- Claude Opus 4.1
Groq
Enter your Groq API key for ultra-fast inference. Get a key at console.groq.com.
Feature Mapping
By default, all features use the same AI provider. Toggle "Customize per feature" for granular control:

API Key Storage
All API keys are stored securely in the macOS Keychain — never in plain text or UserDefaults.
